Kindergarten Wax Resist Paintings
The first things I’m compelled to share are these gorgeous wax resist paintings by some of my kindergarten students.
We talked about different types of lines and experimented with drawing lines with black and white crayons and oil pastels.
Then students painted over their line drawings with liquid watercolors. They started with only primary colors and mixed them on their paper to create secondary colors.
The mess of painting with 4-6 year olds is sooooo worth the results.
